Job Title: Mobilization and Faith Relations Intern

About the Role:

Global Refuge is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mobilization and Faith Relations Intern to support the faith community engagement and congregational fundraising goals of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our faith relations data is up-to-date and that we are reaching new partners through research and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date faith relations data in Salesforce, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Research and identify potential faith community foundations and endowments for partnership opportunities.
  • Support the development of funding proposals in partnership with the Congregational Engagement Specialist.
  • Assist with public events, such as conferences, synod assemblies, webinars, and church visits, to represent Global Refuge and build relationships with faith leaders.
  • Provide administrative support for digital and printed communications, including writing and editing content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Advanced experience working in Microsoft Word required.
  • Experience in data management, prospect research, and community engagement, ideally in a mission-driven, philanthropically supported non-profit, preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to use good judgment, take initiative, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
