Job Summary

The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for key clients, responsible for ensuring seamless execution of proof-of-concept testing, annual readiness testing, continuity recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Client Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing exceptional service and support throughout the testing and recovery process.
  • Schedule and Coordinate Testing: Schedule and coordinate proof-of-concept testing, annual readiness testing, continuity recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Review and Approve Proposals: Review and approve proposals, client contracts, and confidentiality forms, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide Written Confirmation: Provide written confirmation of changes to any production schedule, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Keep Clients Informed: Keep internal and external clients up to date on all projects, providing regular status updates and progress reports.
  • Update Daily Production Reports: Update daily production reports, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to stakeholders.
  • Generate Paperwork and Memos: Generate all necessary paperwork and memos to production areas, providing clear instructions and guidance.
  • Collect and Disseminate Client Specs: Collect and disseminate client specifications to the recovery center, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Maintain Client Files: Maintain client files (electronically and physically), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available.
  • Conduct Meetings: Conduct meetings with representatives from all involved departments to review the scope of the project, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Provide Back-up Support: Provide back-up support to the Account Management team, ensuring seamless coverage and continuity.
  • Provide On-site Support: Provide on-site support for testing and DR recovery needs, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Business or related degree preferred, technical disciplines a plus.
  • Experience: 1+ years of Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery experience.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, and balance changing client and company needs.
  • Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software, especially Excel.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to Work: Ability to work 8 hours consecutively.
  • Prolonged Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional Travel: Occasional travel as required, up to 10% of time.
