Our client is a well-established specialty construction firm with over 50 years of industry experience, currently expanding its operations.

Position Overview
  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets, providing insightful commentary.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly business review presentations for the executive management team and board.
  • Lead the annual standard cost update process, ensuring accurate standards are established.
  • Review actual job costs against project budgets for all ongoing projects.
  • Oversee the divisional month-end closing process, including account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and timely adjustments.
  • Facilitate the completion of annual revenue, expense, and capital budgets, along with quarterly forecast updates.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to manage the receivables collection process.
  • Develop targeted action plans for the collection of overdue accounts.
  • Coordinate and supervise cycle counts and periodic physical inventory assessments.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 5-8 years of experience in corporate accounting with a relevant bachelor's degree.
  • CPA and/or MBA qualifications preferred or in progress.
  • Proficient in Excel (including Vlookups and Pivot Tables) and familiar with accounting software.
  • Hands-on approach to work is essential.
  • Solid understanding of financial compliance regulations.
