This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of residents, staff, and visitors within our community. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary licensing and certifications to fulfill this responsibility effectively.
Compensation:
Competitive pay starting at $18/hr, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transporting residents, staff, and visitors to scheduled and unscheduled appointments.
- Operating vehicles equipped with accessibility features such as wheelchair ramps and lifts.
- Managing passenger buses and sedans.
- Preparing vehicles for operation, including conducting pre and post-trip inspections, refueling, and related tasks.
- Maintaining logs and tracking vehicle usage.
- Assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid Commercial Driver's License Class C (or higher) with Passenger endorsement is required, and must be maintained as a condition of employment.
- A current D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner's Certificate is necessary and must be maintained.
- A clean driving record as verified through a 3-year driving history check.
- Minimum of 3 years of verified driving experience.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in transportation services is preferred.
