Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular safety inspections of our facilities, vehicles, and equipment to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement effective safety training programs for employees, including training on proper equipment operation, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
- Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management, Occupational Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in occupational health and safety or public/private sector risk and safety programs.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Defensive Driver Certification within 6 months of hire.
- OSHA certification.
- Certified Playground Inspector (CPI) certification.
- Experience with safety management software and systems.
