Job Summary:

The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining the profitability of individual properties in their portfolio while maximizing tenant satisfaction. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage property financial metrics and maintain portfolio profitability.
  • Provide monthly reporting and analysis to management on property activities.
  • Approve all expenses incurred by each property and ensure accurate accounting.
  • Resolve tenant billing issues, including CAM reconciliations and direct expense billings.
  • Perform physical inspections and generate preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Effectively resolve tenant issues and evaluate situations from a tenant satisfaction perspective.
  • Work closely with Facilities Management to maintain asset quality and schedule vendors.
  • Maintain asset code compliance and recommend improvements to management.
  • Assist in managing the workload of Assistant Property Managers and lead/supervise Property Managers and Junior Property Managers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college.
  • 7+ years of progressive property management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • California Real Estate License and Certified Property Manager preferred.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on property management experience.
  • 4+ years of commercial real estate experience.
  • Knowledge of job systems and processes and ability to implement new processes or improve existing ones.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, strong organizational and analytical skills, able to handle multiple projects at any given time.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project).
  • Experience in Property Management and/or Work Order Software, i.e., Yardi preferred, MRI, SAP.
