About the Position

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Mental Health Associates at our Residential Treatment Homes and Facilities in Wilsonville and Milwaukie, Oregon.

Job Summary

As a Mental Health Associate, you will work as a member of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness, supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, keeping accurate clinical documentation, and providing housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to adults with serious mental illness
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with meal planning
  • Administer medications as prescribed by a licensed healthcare professional
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience working with adults with serious mental illness, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work as a member of a direct care team and provide support to clients with varying levels of need
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
