Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with serious mental illness. As a Mental Health Associate, you will be part of a direct care team, supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, and providing housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to individuals with serious mental illness
- Assist with daily living activities, such as housekeeping and meal preparation
- Administer medications and provide medication management
- Document clinical information and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service
- Valid Oregon driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check
