POSITION SUMMARY


As an integral member of our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in sustaining the financial vitality of the aftermarket parts division while fostering process enhancements and profit maximization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute daily general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analytical tasks.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
  • Support budgeting processes and monthly financial closures.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy.
  • Provide financial guidance to project teams.
  • Assist in establishing financial policies and procedures.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, contract accounting, reporting, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with all organizational levels to clearly identify the financial implications of business decisions.
  • Clearly communicate company accounting policies as applicable throughout the organization.
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial and business information.
  • Work alongside Finance team members and others in the division to implement and monitor margin improvement initiatives.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance within a retail-focused or technical service industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and databases (Oracle preferred).
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and GAAP standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Access.
  • Experience with databases and data warehousing tools.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work independently and proactively seek improvements.
  • Analytical problem solver with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel 5-10% as needed.
