Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) presents an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our dynamic team.


Ideal candidates for this role should possess a robust background in quality assurance, particularly in data analysis, presentation creation, and stakeholder engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

Level 2:
Investigates contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements to determine their relevance to specific proposals and program processes.

Contributes to the development of quality metrics and certification plans to ensure adherence to contractual, company, and regulatory standards.

Evaluates capability assessments to aid in supplier selection processes.

Engages in various reviews to guarantee that quality attributes are integrated into product designs.

Conducts data analysis to confirm readiness for manufacturing and testing.

Offers material review dispositions for non-conformances.

Examines non-conformance trends to assess the effectiveness of corrective measures.

Compiles performance reports and statistical data to ensure that specified process capability levels are met.

Operates under general supervision.

Level 3:


Acts as the Quality representative in team activities to embed contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements across all aspects of proposals and program processes.

Provides interpretations of quality requirements.

Develops quality metrics and certification plans for smaller programs to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory standards.

Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection.

Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are integrated into product designs.

Performs analyses, tests, and process audits to confirm readiness for manufacturing and testing. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.

Evaluates non-conformance trends to determine the effectiveness of corrective actions.

Recommends corrective measures to address non-conformances.

Conducts benchmarking and other analyses to ensure that specified process capability levels are achieved.

Operates under general direction.

This position requires on-site work at the designated location.

This role necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is mandatory.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution.

Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA).

Over 1 year of experience in collecting and analyzing data from various sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting findings and recommendations to management.

More than 1 year of experience in utilizing company data analytics tools such as Integrated Business Intelligence (IBI) and Tableau reports.

More than 1 year of experience working with analytics, data, and spreadsheets to create presentations and formulate recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or aerospace environment.

Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

A Master's Degree or higher in Informational Data Analytics or a related field.

Typical Education & Experience:

Level 2:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor's) and typically 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master's). In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.

Level 3:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor's) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master's + 3 years of related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
