Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at EControls | FW Murphy Production Controls. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Quality Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Perform Quality Testing: Perform various tests and measurements using precision equipment and tools to evaluate product performance and reliability.
  • Document Quality Procedures: Document test procedures, results, and observations accurately and thoroughly.
  • Analyze Quality Data: Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, or areas for improvement, and collaborate with the engineering team to implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate Containment Activities: Assist with the coordination of purge and containments to ensure the proper containment measures are in place.
  • Develop Quality Processes: Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis investigations to determine the underlying causes of quality issues and support the team to implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor Production Processes: Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Support Quality Audits: Support quality audits and inspections conducted by internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in engineering technology, quality assurance, or related experience pursuing certification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of manufacturing, preferably for electronics / battery applications.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of basic statistics fundamentals, proficient use of MS Office, good organizational skills, ability to follow-up issues/concerns through closure, ability to lead basic team efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems: Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001.
  • Experience with Quality Control Software: Experience with quality control software and tools, such as QMS or LIMS.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand while working for the full shift hours, must be able to lift 20 pounds regularly.
