Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Job Overview:

As a vital member of the Site Reliability Engineering team, you will be instrumental in formulating and executing a reliability framework for a pioneering organization in the MedTech sector. Your role will involve collaborating with and influencing our architecture and engineering teams to deliver robust software solutions that ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a thorough SRE strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the digital team.
  • Assist software engineering teams and business leaders in defining and evolving reliability objectives while tracking progress against these benchmarks.
  • Engage closely with Development, Network, Infrastructure, and Requirements teams to address critical challenges by assessing issues, proposing solutions, and collaborating with other teams as necessary.
  • Analyze the current service tiers of our applications, reliability standards, and practices to identify opportunities for continuous enhancement.
  • Establish a culture of swift detection and root cause analysis while keeping leadership informed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a DBA/Site Reliability Engineer role or similar, with a strong emphasis on Azure infrastructure engineering or Postgres SQL.
  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Proficient in Postgres SQL, DBA functions, and advanced SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices.
