About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Consultant to join our team at Pioneer Management Consulting. As a Senior Energy Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients solve complex energy-related issues and achieve their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assume project management responsibilities for projects of moderate complexity, including leading project teams and managing client relationships.
  • Business Analysis: Gain a deep understanding of the business, industry, and relevant problems to deliver solutions.
  • Strategy Development: Set strategies related to project pre-execution and execution activities.
  • Operational Improvement: Develop and implement governance & operating models, risk management frameworks, and cost & schedule management strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Plan and direct work activities for self and project team members, including stakeholder management, budget tracking, and vendor management.
  • Market Analysis: Maintain a pulse on major market and regulatory trends.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose client problems and propose solutions.
  • Performance Metrics: Identify and define KPIs, scorecard reporting & dashboards to achieve a target ROI.
  • Business Development: Drive and facilitate the expansion of client accounts and cultivate professional networks.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of project/program management experience with proven success managing large transformations using various methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, CI/CD, etc.).
  • Industry Experience: 3+ years of energy industry experience.
  • Consulting Experience: 3+ years of internal or external consulting experience required.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to executives (verbal and written), and proven ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
