Principal Duties & Responsibilities:- Provide support for daily internal and external HR inquiries or requests.
- Maintain accurate employee files and records.
- Facilitate the selection, hiring, onboarding process for new employees.
- Monitor employee engagement levels and implement strategies to enhance satisfaction.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to develop, implement, and evaluate HR programs, policies, and initiatives that align with our company values.
- Ensure organizational structure supports strategic business objectives.
- Track and report on key HR metrics.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for the facility, including meetings, surveys, and other engagement activities.
- Lead change management initiatives by effectively communicating with stakeholders and mitigating potential barriers.
- Identify best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Manage wage/salary administration to attract, retain, and motivate qualified employees.
- Serve as a trusted advocate for employees, ensuring alignment between business goals and employee needs.
- Conduct regular assessments of employee engagement and culture, developing strategies to address any gaps.
- Integrate innovative HR practices to meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Manage the leave of absence process, including FMLA, STD, LTD, and personal leave.
- Track employee training hours.
- Foster positive employee relations and manage communication channels.
- Assist with weekly payroll processing and ad-hoc HR projects.
- Exceptional customer service skills, both internal and external.
- Ability to resolve employee relations issues and improve work relationships.
- Results-oriented with a strong focus on performance in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
