Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for daily internal and external HR inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and records.
  • Facilitate the selection, hiring, onboarding process for new employees.
  • Monitor employee engagement levels and implement strategies to enhance satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to develop, implement, and evaluate HR programs, policies, and initiatives that align with our company values.
  • Ensure organizational structure supports strategic business objectives.
  • Track and report on key HR metrics.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for the facility, including meetings, surveys, and other engagement activities.
  • Lead change management initiatives by effectively communicating with stakeholders and mitigating potential barriers.
  • Identify best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage wage/salary administration to attract, retain, and motivate qualified employees.
  • Serve as a trusted advocate for employees, ensuring alignment between business goals and employee needs.
  • Conduct regular assessments of employee engagement and culture, developing strategies to address any gaps.
  • Integrate innovative HR practices to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage the leave of absence process, including FMLA, STD, LTD, and personal leave.
  • Track employee training hours.
  • Foster positive employee relations and manage communication channels.
  • Assist with weekly payroll processing and ad-hoc HR projects.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both internal and external.
  • Ability to resolve employee relations issues and improve work relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on performance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
