Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Roadway/Traffic Engineer (Civil Engineer I) to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. As a key member of our Roadway and practice, you will be responsible for civil roadway design and analysis of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and traffic projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with design, construction documents, plan production, maps, basic reports, and other supporting documentation
  • Assist with gathering background information related to a project site, including reviewing as-built plans and mapping existing utility services
  • Assist with the preparation of drawings, such as those needed for highways, structures, and traffic projects
  • Assist with quantities and project cost estimates
  • Coordinate with design technicians to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
  • Assist with document preparation for regulatory agencies to obtain required permits
  • Assist with preparation for client and project meetings
  • Attend internal project meetings and participate as necessary
  • Occasionally visit project sites and report findings to Project Managers
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with other disciplines effectively
Professional Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree in Civil Engineering a plus
  • Ohio and/or Kentucky P.E. license required
  • Years of progressive highway design experience; traffic engineering experience a plus
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide variety of people, multitask, and prioritize competing project obligations
  • Strong English language skills, written and verbal, essential for long-term success in this role
Compensation and Benefits:

The approximate compensation range for this position is $72,207-$108,335 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
