Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Vision:
    • Develop and execute a strategic plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
    • Provide visionary leadership to drive growth, impact, and innovation within the region.
    • Identify and create opportunities for increasing business certifications and engagement within the community.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that the organization runs efficiently and effectively.
    • Manage communication with stakeholders including board members, vendors, and potential partners/members.
  • Membership Engagement & Relations:
    • Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective members, including corporate, government, and business organizations.
    • Create and implement programs and initiatives that enhance the value and benefits of membership.
  • Advocacy & Public Representation:
    • Represent the organization in community events, conferences, and public forums.
    • Advocate for the interests of diverse business communities at the local, regional, and national levels.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the organization's annual budget, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
    • Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Event Planning & Program Coordination:
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute key events and programs designed to foster networking and educational opportunities.
    • Work closely with internal and external teams to deliver impactful and engaging programming.
  • Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in leading a nonprofit organization or program, with a focus on operations, fundraising, and membership development.
    • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and understand basic accounting practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of the Asian American business community and its role in economic development.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and strong project management capabilities.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
