Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a skilled and professional individual for our HVAC CSR/Inside Sales Rep position in our branch operations group. The ideal candidate will sell our organization's products and services to prospective and established customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with Regional Manager or Branch Manager to drive territory coverage and maintain positive dealer relationships.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery dates.
  • Process orders, manage inventory, and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications as needed.
  • Monitor and expedite shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
  • Educate customers about product terminology, features, and benefits to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers with warranties and returns.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Periodically reach out to customers to determine satisfaction with our organization, products, and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on sales activities.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of progressive sales experience.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, some college preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment/products is preferred.
  • General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) as well as working knowledge of database applications.
  • Effective and high-quality customer service/relationship management skills.
  • Positive, professional attitude, handling difficult customers with ability to diffuse negative situations.
  • Good phone etiquette and email etiquette.
  • Ability to deal with high-volume customer traffic.
  • Effective verbal and written skills.
  • Effective organizational skills and time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees.
  • Ability to use good judgment and strong work ethics and integrity on the job.
