Senior Product Owner

As a key member of the product management team at Visionaire Partners, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our innovative software solutions.

In this role, you will be accountable for steering the development and implementation of our product strategy. Your responsibilities will include defining and prioritizing product features, managing the backlog, and orchestrating the sequence of feature rollouts to maximize business impact. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Product Manager and leadership to establish and communicate a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and user requirements.
  • Backlog Oversight: Take ownership of the product backlog, prioritizing features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on user feedback, business value, and technical considerations.
  • User Story Creation: Develop clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements to guide the development team effectively.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and other teams to ensure the successful delivery of product features and enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders, keeping them updated on the product strategy, progress, and any adjustments.
  • Release Coordination: Partner with the development team to plan and execute product releases, ensuring timely delivery of features that meet quality benchmarks.
  • Continuous Enhancement: Regularly assess product performance, gather insights, and iterate on features to enhance user experience and drive engagement.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and dependencies in the product development lifecycle and proactively address them.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum setting.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a Software/Tech organization.
  • 3+ years of experience in product strategy development and management, from concept to launch.
  • 2+ years of experience with project management tools such as JIRA and/or Trello.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CSPO or similar certifications.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
  • Experience in a cloud computing environment.
