We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Stratus. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our People & Culture function and providing strategic guidance to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of four (4) P&C professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure the success of the team.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the point of contact for union contract administration, negotiations, and grievances, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and performance, and provide guidance to management on employment-related matters.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with employment laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, middle-management, and employees, and provide regular updates and reports to the leadership team.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Degree in Human Resources or other relevant business area, and 10+ years of HR Generalist experience, with 5+ years of management experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven ability to build strong relationships, self-starter with strong work ethic, high level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail, and exceptional communication and analytical skills.
  • Certifications: Current SHRM or HRCI certification(s) highly preferred.
