Position Overview: The Renovation Operations Manager will oversee a dedicated team responsible for managing the renovation activities of our properties. This role involves inspecting homes, preparing and submitting bids, and occasionally fulfilling the duties of a Superintendent. The Renovation Supervisor will ensure that all aspects of property repairs are executed efficiently, including vendor oversight, project timeline management, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team productivity and performance metrics.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, providing training and support to team members while managing challenges effectively.
  • Conduct thorough Move-out and Turnover Inspections, ensuring properties meet company standards and identifying necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Possess a solid understanding of business operations and budgets, recognizing the impact of renovations on overall performance.
  • Manage multiple renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company protocols.
  • Develop budgets based on property inspections, aligning with company-approved pricing.
  • Utilize technology proficiently to manage renovation tasks from initiation to completion.
  • Schedule and oversee all renovation activities, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Ensure contractors meet quality and timeliness standards through regular inspections.
  • Document the renovation process with comprehensive before and after photos.
  • Oversee quality control and punch list processes for all renovation projects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents throughout the renovation process.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Service-oriented mindset in all job aspects.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential construction or a related field preferred.
  • Technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Knowledge of building codes and property management standards.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
