Position Overview:

As a professional dedicated to defense missions, you possess the ability to inquire deeply into complex scenarios. Your expertise allows you to navigate intricate challenges and devise innovative solutions that contribute to national security.

The Technical Planner for Strategic Engagements will play a pivotal role within the Strategic Engagement Directorate, offering specialized knowledge in coalition, civil, and commercial interactions. This position entails performing comprehensive studies and evaluations regarding modifications, enhancements, and future developments in both national and international contexts. The focus will be on space capabilities, assessing both new and existing technologies while considering their implications on national systems and interoperability with global and commercial partners.

Active involvement in security cooperation discussions, coalition visits, and governance of the Commercial Integration Cell will be essential, as you contribute to overarching government strategies, intelligence briefings, and key talking points for leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in international and commercial engagement and strategic planning within military or governmental frameworks.
  • Proven experience in multinational military collaboration and commercial outreach initiatives.
  • Background in IT systems development and integration.
  • Familiarity with defense and space operations policies and strategies.
  • Capability to evaluate requirements for space-related capabilities.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of coalition, civil, and commercial engagements, including their technical dimensions.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth analyses and formulate actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Skill in aligning technical solutions with strategic goals and priorities.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including international partners and commercial entities.
  • Adaptability to respond to changing mission needs and technological advancements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance is advantageous.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The anticipated compensation range for this role is between $84,600.00 and $193,000.00 annually. This range reflects the typical salary for this position and is one aspect of Booz Allen's total compensation package.

Work Environment:

If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site. If onsite, you will engage with colleagues and clients in person as necessary for the role.
