Position Overview:

As a professional in defense missions, you possess the ability to inquire deeply into complex scenarios. Your expertise allows you to navigate intricate challenges and devise innovative solutions that contribute to national security.

The Technical Engagement Strategist will play a pivotal role within the Strategic Engagement Directorate, offering specialized knowledge in coalition, civil, and commercial collaborations. This position entails performing comprehensive studies and evaluations regarding modifications, enhancements, and future advancements in both national and international contexts. The expert will concentrate on space-related assets, scrutinizing both emerging and established technologies while assessing their implications on national systems and interoperability with global and commercial partners.

This role requires active involvement in security cooperation discussions, coalition engagements, and the governance of the Commercial Integration Cell, contributing to a cohesive government strategy, intelligence briefings, and commander's communication points.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in international and commercial collaborations and strategic planning within military or governmental frameworks.
  • Proven experience in multinational military partnerships and commercial outreach initiatives.
  • Familiarity with IT systems development and integration processes.
  • Understanding of defense and space operations policies and strategies.
  • Capability to evaluate requirements for space capabilities.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insight into coalition, civil, and commercial engagements, along with their technical dimensions.
  • Proficiency in conducting detailed analyses and formulating relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to align technical solutions with strategic goals and priorities.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including international partners and commercial entities.
  • Adaptability to respond to changing mission requirements and technological progress.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance is advantageous.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually. This range reflects the typical salary for this role and is part of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
