We are looking for a simulation-focused exercise planner with a blend of operational and strategic thinking to bolster national security. In this capacity, you will leverage your understanding of military frameworks and the space sector to enhance training methodologies for both localized and remote audiences.

Your proficiency will convert real-world military needs into actionable warfighting capabilities, ensuring effective training for contemporary military personnel. As a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Exercise Planner, you will play a crucial role in the design, assessment, and evaluation of training exercises centered on space-related assets. You will employ analytical software to create and refine simulations tailored to operational demands. This position necessitates strong analytical thinking, data interpretation, and operational analysis capabilities, providing invaluable experience in constructive modeling, simulation, and military training for space operations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in one of the U.S. military branches
  • Experience in the planning and execution of Tier Exercises in alignment with Joint Publication 5-0 and the Joint Planning Process
  • Familiarity with simulated environments or scenario creation that fulfills training needs for individuals and units
  • Experience with C2BMC, JMDTS, WASABI, PDS-M, or STK
  • Understanding of the Joint Training Program (JTP) and JELC doctrines and procedures
  • Capability to analyze extensive raw model outputs to pinpoint key factors
  • Skill in summarizing and conveying complex technical insights and findings
  • Ability to apply operational analysis principles, theories, and concepts to implement study plans and analysis frameworks
  • TS/SCI clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing scripts to tailor model behaviors and decisions within analytical scenarios
  • Familiarity with RAPTR, BORG, SIDC, NYX, or FROST
  • Experience in crafting M&S scripts to modify model behaviors and decisions within analytical contexts
  • Knowledge of Orbital Mechanics

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

The salary range for this position is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this role is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is part of Booz Allen's total compensation package.

Work Environment:

Our culture prioritizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position is remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site. If it is onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person as required for the role.
