Your Role:

In the capacity of an Investment Counsellor, you will represent Fisher Investments to our Canadian clientele. You will collaborate with our internal portfolio strategists, research teams, client service professionals, and esteemed sales personnel to deliver exceptional service. As a fee-only fiduciary firm, our compensation model is designed to align with our clients' best interests, free from commission-based incentives. Our comprehensive training program provides an advanced education in finance and capital markets, equipping you with insights into our firm's unique strategies. You will report to a group manager who will guide you in managing client relationships and support your professional growth.

Daily Responsibilities:

As a Canadian Investment Counsellor, you will be the primary liaison for Fisher Investments Canada, operating from the United States. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and nurturing a professional rapport with our Canadian clients
  • Conducting quarterly outreach to clients to assess their asset allocation and ensure alignment with their long-term financial objectives
  • Providing education on our top-down portfolio strategy, investment options, significant market developments, and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborating with our sales team to gradually expand your roster of high-net-worth clients within your first year

Qualifications:

  • CFA (any level passed) and Series 65 (assistance will be provided upon commencement)
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in portfolio management and client relationship development
  • Bachelor's degree
  • A consultative approach with a strong emphasis on client-centric service
