Job Summary

We are seeking a highly strategic and dynamic individual to lead our project development, M&A, and competitive positioning strategies at CarbonCapture Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement large-scale project development strategies in partnership with our CEO, VP Finance, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the identification, negotiation, and securing of funding sources, including government grants, private equity, and venture capital.
  • Create and manage strategic partnering and financial models to support project development and investment decisions.
  • Assess and mitigate market, credit, and operational financial risks, and develop risk management frameworks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project investors, banks, off-takes, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in project development, including strategic partnering, finance, and off-takes.
  • Proven track record of successfully structuring and closing unique project development partnerships and managing complex financial transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, investment analysis, and risk management, with a deep understanding of finance market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation

$200,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Base salary plus equity.
