Crisis Support Specialist

**About the Role:**We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team as a Crisis Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in our community by providing critical support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.
**Key Responsibilities:*** Respond to incoming calls and chats/texts on crisis and community support lines* Conduct intake and needs assessments, coordinating services to address non-life-threatening mental health situations* Advocate for community members, ensuring continuity of care and connecting them with local resources* Collaborate with experienced staff to develop consumer-driven wellness and recovery plans* Maintain accurate documentation within established timeframes* Transport clients as approved by supervisors* Work closely with the Mobile Crisis Response Team to prevent re-hospitalization and promote stabilization* Participate in on-call services on a rotational basis* Perform other duties as assigned to support the program's success

What You'll Need:* High School Diploma or Equivalent* Class C Driving License* 1 year of experience working with the public* Ability to engage consumers and de-escalate situations using specialized tactics* Basic understanding of wellness and recovery principles* Strong note-taking skills, basic computer proficiency, and excellent communication abilities* Capacity to remain calm during crisis situations and respond effectively* Proficiency in data entry and accuracy* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills* College degree, Substance Abuse clinical experience, or Bilingual English/Spanish preferred* Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum
