Cardiac Progressive Care Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse Cardiac Progressive Care position at Las Palmas Medical Center is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise and dedication. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Progressive Care unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Monitor and recognize changes in patient behavior, neurological, and physiological status, and take appropriate action.
- Administer and monitor the effects of medications, treatments, and procedures performed on patients.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain a high level of patient care through effective use of resources and personnel.
- Educate patients and families based on individual needs.
- RN licensed in the State of Texas or Compact.
- BCLS certified.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Associates Degree or BSN.
- Critical Care Background.
- Dysrhythmia Recognition.
- Proficiency in EKG.
