Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opportunity for an HR Specialist within our production facility, which is poised for significant growth. This role will encompass a wide array of human resources functions, allowing you to leverage your expertise to enhance the HR department's evolution and make a lasting impact within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Specialist will play a vital role in supporting all employee groups by:
- Implementing company-wide HR initiatives and addressing human resources challenges.
- Enhancing organizational efficiency and communication.
- Overseeing the complete recruitment cycle to ensure we attract the right talent.
Recruitment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing robust recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.
- Meeting established metrics related to recruitment effectiveness.
- Creating innovative sourcing strategies and providing updates on recruitment channels.
- Leading the recruitment process, including conducting interviews and managing candidate communications.
Payroll & Benefits Management
In this capacity, you will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
- Addressing root causes of payroll issues and implementing long-term solutions.
- Managing temporary staffing needs and ensuring compliance with benefit program enrollments.
Human Resources Administration
Additionally, you will:
- Maintain employee records with confidentiality and integrity.
- Provide guidance on company policies and address sensitive inquiries.
- Support HR initiatives and stay informed on relevant legislation affecting human resources.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A 4-year degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or as an HR Generalist.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and knowledge of labor laws.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:
- Experience with ADP WorkforceNow.
- Ability to recruit large hourly workforces efficiently.
- PHR/SHRM Certification and bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
