Position Information:
The Surgical Technician Labor and Delivery I is a vital member of our medical team, working under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure a safe operating room environment. Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with patient care and triage in the Labor and Delivery deck area
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper functioning
• Collaborating with the surgical team to maximize patient safety
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• 3 years of clinical experience as a Surgical Technician
• A graduate degree in Surgical Technology or an Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist within 1 year of hire or completion of a Surgical Technology program
Work Schedule:
This role requires working 7pm-7am shifts, with occasional weekend and call requirements as needed.
