Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable for Non-Governmental entities, including Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and claims with insurance providers.
  • Evaluate contracts to ensure accurate payment processing and identify trends in payment discrepancies or coding issues.
  • Document all account activities, including outcomes, resolutions, and subsequent actions required.
  • Manage claim denials, submit appeals, and rectify claims as necessary.
  • Perform cash posting activities.
  • Process insurance refunds efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough follow-ups with various insurance plans to ensure timely resolution.
  • Verify that insurance details are accurately recorded on accounts, including primary, secondary, and tertiary coverage as provided by patients.
