Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable for Non-Governmental entities, including Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and claims with insurance providers.
- Evaluate contracts to ensure accurate payment processing and identify trends in payment discrepancies or coding issues.
- Document all account activities, including outcomes, resolutions, and subsequent actions required.
- Manage claim denials, submit appeals, and rectify claims as necessary.
- Perform cash posting activities.
- Process insurance refunds efficiently.
- Conduct thorough follow-ups with various insurance plans to ensure timely resolution.
- Verify that insurance details are accurately recorded on accounts, including primary, secondary, and tertiary coverage as provided by patients.
