Job Summary
The Assistant Leader in Branch Banking is responsible for driving revenue enhancement, ensuring operational excellence, and elevating client satisfaction, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a positive reputation within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Management: Propel market expansion of primary client connections and meet financial growth objectives (deposits, loans, and non-interest income). Proactively identify and facilitate the right client introductions to appropriate team members to meet growth goals and implement successful sales strategies.
  • Sales Guidance and Development: Assist in the coaching, training, and mentoring of team members. Actively promote the execution of sales and marketing initiatives produced by partners. Reinforce training and development for branch teams, focusing on our mission and effective engagement with the community and clients to achieve performance objectives. Support the Branch Banking Leader in talent management activities, including recruitment, performance assessments, staff training, disciplinary measures, succession planning, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Client Engagement: Provide client interaction and education utilizing available tools and systems. Cultivate a culture dedicated to delivering an outstanding client experience, committed to fulfilling our mission and purpose.
  • Risk Oversight: Recognize and address reputational, regulatory, employee, and client risks by ensuring team members comprehend and adhere to all relevant bank policies and regulations. Achieve operational excellence standards.
  • Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned.
  • Consistently comply with regulatory and compliance policies and standards related to the role and complete necessary compliance training. Responsible for maintaining adherence to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent, required
  • 3+ Years of overall branch sales experience, required
  • May require National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation.
  • Bachelor's Degree (4 years or equivalent), preferred
  • Experience in a leadership capacity, preferred
