Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the supply chain operations. This position involves overseeing receiving, distribution, and inventory management tasks.

The individual in this role is tasked with preparing essential shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork with a high degree of accuracy.

Maintaining customer satisfaction and meeting performance standards is vital, all while operating efficiently in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Oversight:
    Monitor and sustain inventory levels to guarantee optimal stock availability. Collaborate with suppliers for timely replenishment. Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and address discrepancies.
  • Order Management:
    Process purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods. Work closely with vendors and logistics partners to track shipments and resolve any delivery challenges.
  • Shipping Coordination:
    Organize the shipment of outgoing orders, selecting appropriate carriers and scheduling pickups. Inspect incoming shipments for damages and verify quantities upon receipt.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    Prepare necessary shipping documents, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries regarding order status and shipping information. Address any concerns or issues related to logistics promptly and professionally.
  • Process Enhancement:
    Identify opportunities for streamlining logistics processes and enhancing efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a background in supply chain management or logistics, with several years of experience in a manufacturing environment. A two-year degree in Administrative Support or a related field is preferred.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with modern ERP systems for inventory management and distribution.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain comprehensive records.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates should be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in both office and warehouse environments.
