Position Overview:


The Head of Business Growth will be instrumental in the advancement of Ray Recovery by formulating and implementing a detailed sales and marketing strategy.

The successful candidate will possess a robust background in healthcare business expansion, exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously to meet financial targets.

This role requires the ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with referral sources and payers without a dedicated sales team, along with a solid understanding of substance use treatment and behavioral health services.

The Head of Business Growth will serve as the primary liaison for all prospective referral sources and will collaborate closely with the clinical team to guarantee that patients receive exemplary care.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a thorough sales and marketing strategy to meet revenue objectives and enhance patient intake.

Identify and assess target markets, devising strategies to attract and retain patients.

Engage directly with individuals as a treatment guide to ensure a smooth transition of care.

Establish and nurture relationships with referral sources, payers, and other vital community stakeholders.

Work in partnership with clinical staff to ensure coherence between business development initiatives and clinical operations.


Evaluate market trends to uncover growth opportunities and improvements, as well as compiling and assessing competitive data within designated geographical areas.


Participate in networking events and conferences to enhance the center's reputation, boost visibility in the community, and drive business development efforts.

Prepare and present proposals to potential referral sources and payers to advocate for the center's services and foster enduring relationships.

Collaborate closely with the billing and finance department to ensure precise and prompt reimbursement for services provided.

Submit timely CRM data, expense reports, annual strategic sales plans, and quarterly updates on strategic sales plans.

Exhibit knowledge and adherence to state and federal confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.


A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare business development, ideally in substance use treatment or behavioral health; at least one year of experience in substance use treatment is mandatory.

The Head of Business Growth should inspire and guide the marketing team while collaborating with operational and clinical leadership to ensure positive partnerships and a strong community reputation.


Emergency Preparedness:

Understand and adhere to facility emergency and safety protocols, respond to emergencies effectively, provide first aid and CPR as necessary, and maintain a safe environment for clients and staff.


Overdose Awareness:

All staff must recognize the signs and symptoms of an overdose and respond appropriately, requiring training in naloxone and other overdose reversal medications.


Suicide Risk Awareness:

All staff must identify signs and symptoms of suicide risk and respond appropriately, necessitating training in suicide prevention strategies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and EXPERIENCE

Strategic Planning:

The Head of Business Growth should be capable of formulating and executing marketing strategies that align with the overall objectives of the program.


Marketing Acumen:

The Head of Business Growth should possess a strong grasp of marketing principles and be able to design and implement marketing campaigns that effectively reach the target audience.


Effective Communication:

The Head of Business Growth should communicate proficiently with a diverse range of stakeholders, including program staff, funders, and the public.


Data Analysis:

The Head of Business Growth should gather and analyze data to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and make informed decisions regarding future marketing initiatives.


Collaborative Teamwork:

The Head of Business Growth should work effectively with various teams, including program staff, the marketing team, and other stakeholders.

Problem-solving: The Head of Business Growth should identify and resolve challenges that arise during the marketing process.

Creative Thinking:
The Head of Business Growth should generate innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.

Resilience:
The Head of Business Growth should manage setbacks and challenges in the marketing process.

Adaptability:
The Head of Business Growth should adjust to changes in the marketing landscape.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to navigate stairs during emergency drills or situations.

Job Type:
Full-time

Compensation:
$95,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually
