Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse-Radiation Oncology to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our radiation oncology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in radiation oncology
Requirements
  • Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher
  • Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in radiation oncology or a related field
  • Nursing specialty certification, if eligible
