- Deliver radiation therapy to patients in accordance with established treatment protocols and under the supervision of the radiation oncologist.
- Employ cutting-edge technology and equipment to ensure the delivery of precise radiation treatments.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the radiation therapy process.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive treatment records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families about the radiation therapy process and what to expect.
- Engage in departmental meetings, quality improvement projects, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Radiation Therapist.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in radiation therapy, ideally within an oncology context.
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy principles, methodologies, and safety measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.
