Core Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols and under the supervision of the radiation oncologist.
- Employ state-of-the-art technology and equipment to ensure the precision and accuracy of radiation therapy.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of treatment and patient interactions.
- Educate patients and their families regarding radiation therapy processes and what to expect.
- Engage in departmental meetings, quality improvement projects, and ongoing professional development activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Radiation Therapist.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
- A minimum of three years of experience in radiation therapy, ideally within an oncology context.
- Comprehensive knowledge of radiation therapy principles, methodologies, and safety measures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to function both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
