Senior Sales Executive

The National Account Manager will report to the Executive Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for all sales activities in the designated market channels. This role requires a strong business acumen and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a business plan covering sales, revenues, expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization's presence in the region.
- Establish the sales channels to market including distribution, agents and end user retail sales.
- Research and develop a list of potential clients, proactively identify, locate, and prospect new business leads.
- Evaluate and learn customer and competitor activities and propose solutions.
- Conduct product and sales training sessions to meet internal and external customer needs.
- Assume additional related duties as deemed appropriate by manager.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of sales leadership and business development experience.
- Completion of a post-secondary program with a focus on business, engineering or a combination of education and previous sales experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated business development skills with ability to identify customer needs and effectively communicate, negotiate, and close sales.
- Excellent verbal, written and technical communication skills and superior presentation skills are required.
- Established ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and a CRM program is preferred.
- Travel required as directed by our customers.
- Excellent time-management, communications, decision making, human relations, presentation and organization skills.
