Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a range of tasks to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance services.
  • Address emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operations and conduct scheduled maintenance during machine service.
  • Prepare and configure machinery for planned production runs.
  • Utilize mechanical skills, including but not limited to, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and hydraulic systems of packaging and production equipment.
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs on diverse equipment and maintain the facility.
  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to carry out necessary maintenance and services.
  • Diagnose issues, replace or repair components, test, and make adjustments.
  • Employ a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in executing duties.
  • Safely operate and maintain forklifts.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and uphold clean and organized workspaces.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications such as MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic or technician role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical expertise.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with AC Drives and PLCs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing methodologies, process improvement programs, and procedures is required.
  • Experience operating forklift equipment.
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to maintaining safety and a desire for continuous learning and development.
  • Completion of training courses as designated by management.
