**Covenant Health (Tennessee)** is a leading healthcare network with 10 hospitals and various outpatient services. We are seeking an experienced Patient Account Representative II to join our team.

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $45,000 - $60,000 based on industry standards and the location of Tennessee.

In this position, you will work to resolve patient accounts by effectively following up on insurance claims. This includes reviewing billed claims for timely and accurate payment, researching claim denials, and serving as a liaison between patients, hospital staff, and insurance companies.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the recognition and resolution of issues related to working accounts.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in handling multiple tasks and understanding revenue process procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and other relevant requirements.
  • Recognizing situations that require supervision and seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Adhering to established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, and safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of two to three years' experience in healthcare.
  • Basic computer skills and math proficiency.
  • Possession of an Associate's degree in a directly-related field or equivalent experience.
