Job Summary:


Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist


We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist to join our team at the Arizona Department of Child Safety. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing valuable support and assistance to children and families in need.


Responsibilities:



  • Respond to reported allegations of child abuse and/or neglect
  • Assess child safety and risk
  • Conduct interviews and gather information
  • Make in-and-out of home contacts with families and children
  • Attend Court hearings
  • Prepare case plans and conduct case plan staffing
  • Author reports and document case information
  • Coordinate and monitor services
  • Places children, transports children, and moves children's belongings when necessary

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Four years of experience as a DCS Case Aide
  • Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid class-appropriate driver's license
  • Pass a written exam, background investigation, and Motor Vehicle Report check
