Job Title: Aviation Account/Sales Director

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to drive business development initiatives and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the aviation industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and objectives.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly, ensuring alignment with company targets.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates, and make informed decisions to drive sales growth.
  • Manage and maintain key client relationships within the aviation sector, building trust and credibility through exceptional customer service and support.
  • Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial environment.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives, showcasing products and services that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Meet with key clients, maintaining relationships, and negotiating and closing deals that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of the division to conform to budgetary requirements, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition, staying ahead of the market and identifying opportunities to differentiate and innovate.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote the product and build relationships with industry stakeholders.
  • Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist other departments within the organization to prepare manuals and technical publications, providing expertise and support to drive business growth and success.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, and business development, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the aviation industry and its current events, with the ability to build rapport with key clients and maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
