Position Summary

Role Description:


AJM Packaging Corporation, a prominent manufacturer of paper products, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in managing the daily human resources functions at our facility.

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing recruitment and staffing processes, acting as a crucial link between the facility and the corporate human resources team.


Key Responsibilities:
Engage in all aspects of recruitment, interviewing, and staffing at the facility level.


Ensure the accurate processing of documentation related to benefits programs, including health, dental, and disability insurance, as well as vacation and sick leave.

Conduct new employee orientations and provide necessary training.

Address inquiries regarding human resources policies, procedures, and programs.

Resolve issues effectively and communicate any significant matters to the corporate office.


Support the implementation of new or revised human resources policies and programs at the facility level.

Facilitate timely performance reviews for employees.


Maintain comprehensive records of personnel activities, including hires, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

Organize and complete new hire documentation, including I-9 forms and training packets.

Conduct follow-up interviews with new hires and exit interviews with departing employees, ensuring all training materials are completed.

Manage the tracking of licenses and certifications for employees, ensuring compliance and organization.


Process requests for time off and assist in monitoring attendance.



Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:
Associate degree with two or more years of relevant experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in recruitment within a manufacturing setting is advantageous.

Proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable.

Strong computer skills and familiarity with various software applications are essential.

Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
