Job Summary:

The Part-Time Customer Experience Representative is responsible for assisting patients with selecting appropriate medical marijuana products, serving as a product expert at the dispensary, and engaging in one-on-one interaction with patients from the time they walk into the retail area until the time they exit the store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow established policies and procedures to ensure a world-class patient experience.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store and use of such knowledge to assist with patient product selections.
  • Perform patient intake functions as outlined in company SOPs.
  • Verification of proper patient paperwork, documentation, and identification.
  • Accurate use and maintenance of the company Point Of Sale (POS) system and state electronic verification system.
  • Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy.
  • Help with maintaining an organized and clean store.
  • Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly, safely and in compliance with applicable law.
  • Ensure all inventory is received and maintain proper recordkeeping.
  • Manage visitor log, record daily deliveries, evaluate products and suppliers.
  • Regular review of all products and supply levels in dispensary.
  • Monitor current inventory levels and process purchase orders, as needed.
  • Work with dispensary managers to record purchases, maintain databases, perform physical counts of inventory and ensure inventory is properly catalogued.
  • Help to ensure all technology platforms, are updated with the most accurate product descriptions and inventory amounts.
  • Help ensure new products are ready for sale within the established timeframes.
  • Timely communicate any issues or discrepancies to dispensary management.
  • Receive, unpack, label and restock products; process and record product returns.
  • Assist with online menu updates for the assigned location.
  • Other duties, as assigned by dispensary management.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of the company.
  • Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and the natural function of the human endocannabinoid system.
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software programs including, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
  • Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
Work Environment:
  • Similar to a retail pharmacy, with frequent internal and external interaction.
