Early Childhood Program Director

Apple Playschools is a pioneering organization that offers innovative, Reggio Emilia-inspired early childhood programs. We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee one of our outdoor immersion programs, Green Apple Garden. This program serves 20-25 children aged 6 weeks to 30 months and a team of 10-12 teachers.

Your RoleThe Program Director will collaborate with our administrative team, teaching staff, and families to support 1-3 classrooms. Key responsibilities include:
- Teacher Coaching and Management: Recruit, train, and evaluate staff; maintain open communication and lead professional development.
- Financial Management: Make informed business decisions, allocate resources, and ensure financial responsibility.
- License and Compliance: Ensure safety, health, and licensing regulations are met; coordinate with Great Start to Quality and act as a mandated reporter.
- Family and Administrative Liaison: Communicate with staff and families; coordinate events and support families with neurodivergent children.

Requirements21+ years old, Early Childhood Program Director certification, 3+ years of teaching experience, 2+ years of management experience, and proficiency in Google Suite apps. Familiarity with anti-bias and anti-oppression concepts and a commitment to personal responsibility for unlearning biases.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with infants and toddlers, a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field, and nonprofit, administrative, or education experience.
