Early Learning Center Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Learning Center Director to join our team at Squiggle Room Early Learning Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall administration of our early learning programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable licensing and funding regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate early learning programs, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Contribute to the development of agency and Early Education & Care plans and goals, and establish relationships with community health and welfare services.
- Support staff in preparing for program visits and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal funding agencies.
- Implement the HighScope curriculum and design meetings and professional development experiences to support this process.
- Assist in grant applications and grant reporting, and develop plans for ongoing growth and improved quality of services to children and families.
- Monitor and make staffing adjustments to ensure compliance with age group ratios, and ensure high-quality programming by providing a safe, interactive, and engaging environment.
- Display the highest ethical and professional behavior and standards, and maintain confidentiality of children participating in the program.
- Recruit and enroll children in programs per contract requirements, and honor and respect families by implementing culturally responsive practices.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly program reports, and confer with parents regarding facility activities, policies, and enrollment procedures.
- Conduct monthly classroom observations and reviews of center files, and conduct annual evaluations with employees and encourage annual goal development and growth.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Recreation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in an early learning setting with 3-5 years direct supervisory experience.
- Experience in the operation of a child development center, daycare center, nursery school, or kindergarten.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with families, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing priorities to maximize personal and team effectiveness.
- Continuous learner who leverages opportunities for learning and applies new knowledge and skills.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely present ideas and concepts to multiple audiences.
