Radiation Therapist

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the accuracy and safety of radiation treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Verify the accuracy of patient treatment plans and ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Deliver radiation treatments to patients, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that patients are properly positioned and secured.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
- Associate's degree in Radiological Technology or related field.
- Registration and certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
- Current licensure in the State of Mississippi.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
