We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the accuracy of treatment plans.

• Verify treatment plans and ensure accuracy of immobilization, laser lines, marks, and treatment parameters
• Deliver daily treatments, verifying the accuracy of treatment set-ups and ensuring patient safety
• Record and document treatment parameters, including dose and total dose
• Perform weekly chart checks, reviewing diagrams, photographs, and total dose columns
• Schedule simulations through the designated coordinator as needed
• Assist with equipment maintenance, quality control, and machine output checks
• Provide backup coverage for diagnostic radiography services as needed

• Associates Degree of Applied Science or certificate in Radiological Technology with a certificate in Radiation Therapy Technology
• Registration and Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists in the specific discipline of Radiation Therapy
• Maintain licensure by the State of Mississippi
• Maintain CPR Certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of serving adult and geriatric population
