About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Statistical Programmer to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our Statistical Programming department, you will play a critical role in the development of integrated programming solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement statistical programs for use in creating statistical tables, figures, and listings.
  • Provide advanced technical expertise to internal and external clients, including project-level requirements and programming specifications.
  • Lead technical teams and projects, managing resource assignments, communicating project status, and negotiating project timelines.
  • Develop and maintain programming standards, SOPs, and best practices, and provide training and mentoring to team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a science or mathematics-related field from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Statistical Programming in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
  • Expertise in R programming, SAS Base, SAS Graph, and SAS Macros, as well as CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM).
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial data, data manipulation, analysis, and reporting of analysis results.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a technical team lead, directly engaging clients and coordinating tasks within a programming team.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of R programming, Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Graph, and SAS Macro Language.
  • Experience with SDTM implementation and ADaM implementation according to CDISC standards.
