Mortgage Financing Specialist - Sales Role (hybrid)

Position Overview:

Our Mortgage Financing Specialists are essential to our sales team. In this position, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our property investor clients, assisting them in finding the most suitable product for their requirements. You will guide clients through the application process, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support. You will collaborate with underwriting and management teams to structure loans that exceed both client expectations and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct 10-30 phone consultations daily, with warm leads provided each day.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups via phone, email, or SMS.
  • Understand client goals and objectives, assisting in structuring the appropriate loan product.
  • Originate commercial property loans, focusing on construction and renovation financing, with a target of $5M in closed and funded loans monthly.
  • Assess collateral properties to evaluate their market value, condition, and potential risks.
  • Structure loan transactions, including terms, interest rates, fees, and repayment schedules, while adhering to company policies and risk guidelines.
  • Collaborate with borrowers, property investors, brokers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information, address inquiries, and provide guidance throughout the loan process.
  • Maintain high customer service standards by proactively communicating with borrowers, providing regular updates on loan progress, and addressing any concerns.
  • Manage a pipeline of loan applications, ensuring timely follow-up and adherence to closing timelines while meeting productivity metrics and KPIs.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of loan origination processes, systems, and strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage lending or real estate.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, remote work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven sales ability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve lending targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Proficient in loan origination systems, CRMs, and other relevant software.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in real estate lending (e.g., NMLS) are advantageous.
