Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering injections.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Work collaboratively with the patient care team to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing medical policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • MA Certification by a California Medical Board recognized agency is required to be eligible for incentive.
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working 32 hours per week. The schedule includes working days, with no weekends required.
