Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering injections.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and families.
- Work collaboratively with the patient care team to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with changing medical policies, procedures, and regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- MA Certification by a California Medical Board recognized agency is required to be eligible for incentive.
- 1 year of recent relevant experience preferred.
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures.
This is a part-time position, working 32 hours per week. The schedule includes working days, with no weekends required.
